Network Description:
This network aims to provide a national foundation and infrastructure to
support major new interdisciplinary and inter-institutional
approaches for the modelling, optimisation, analysis, implementation and
understanding
of scheduling decision support systems throughout the industrial,
commercial and service sectors so as to enable
software vendors to match the needs of these sectors.
Objectives of the ISN.
Network Facts:
As of July 2004, the ISN Network has:
- 160 Members from academia and industry,
- Members representing 40 academic institutions and 35 businesses,
- Produced 15 Workshops on scheduling,
- Distributed 8 Newsletters to members, and
- Received approximately 3000 Page Views on its Internet
site since Jan. 2002.
